Ian Crane

Ian Crane currently teaches music at Cuyahoga Falls High School, and spent five years on faculty at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, as instructor of bagpipes. He has performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, Metropolitan Museum of Art, sung with Bobby McFerrin and Contrapunctus, and has performed as both a vocalist and instrumentalist with Apollo’s Fire.  Ian earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Cleveland State University and a master’s in conducting from Kent State University. He resides in Lakewood with his wife, Tricia, and children, Phoebe and Alexander.
