Oxford’s New Recorded Anthology Features Quire Cleveland

The Oxford Recorded Anthology of Western Music has been released!

Volume One: The Earliest Notations to the Early Eighteenth Century (2-CD set) features Quire Cleveland in nearly two dozen selections.

We’re in good company, including a veritable “Who’s Who” of early music ensembles and soloists — Anonymous 4, The Hilliard Ensemble, King’s College Choir, Gothic Voices, The Binchois Consort, Pomerium, Tafelmusik, and Gustav Leonhardt, among others.

The music accompanies The Oxford History of Western Music by Richard Taruskin and Christopher H. Gibbs, and The Oxford Anthology of Western Music edited by David Rothenberg (of the CWRU Music Department). You can find out more at Oxford University Press.
